2022 has been a year of significant progress for Aceites ABASA, leading us to craft our first Sustainability Report. This report not only highlights our actions but also outlines a roadmap for the future, acknowledging our impact on the environment.
Within this Sustainability Report, we provide a comprehensive and transparent overview of our commitment to the environment and society, along with the key achievements of 2022.
1. Our activity
Aceites ABASA stands as one of Spain’s major companies in the packaging and distribution of vegetable oils. Dealing with a diverse range of raw materials, our primary products include extra virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, grape seed oil, and avocado oil.
In 2022, we achieved a turnover of 216 million euros, marking a 36% increase from the previous year. This success secured our position in the TOP 100 companies in Andalusia and the TOP 10 oil companies in the Andalusian landscape.
Our primary focus is on exportation, with over 80% of production sent to more than 45 countries, highlighting Italy and the United States as major destinations. Nearly 80% of our 2022 sales were in bulk products.
