Aceites ABASA presents its 2024 Sustainability Report, a document that reflects both the results of the last financial year and the evolution of its environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy.
In 2024, the company achieved a turnover of €404 million, representing an increase of 66% over 20223, continuing to rank among the top 100 companies in Andalusia according to Andalucía Económica, in position 89th. At the same time, it has consolidated its international presence, ranking 25th in the Andalusia Export Companies Ranking, with exports to more than 45 countries.
Its team consists of 91 people and has grown by 14% compared to the previous year, generating 11 net jobs. With these results, Aceites ABASA reinforces its commitment to internationalization, local development and the creation of opportunities.
The new report, prepared in accordance with GRI standards and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also reflects the company’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint by optimizing processes and incorporating renewable energies, as well as promoting the circular economy through the recovery of olive grove by-products.
In the social and human resources sphere, Aceites ABASA maintains its commitment to local hiring, community support through product donations and sponsorships and ongoing training for its team, which in 2024 exceeded 1,700 hours of training. These achievements highlight the company’s desire to be a driving force for development in the Baena region and among its employees.
José Manuel Rodríguez Halcón, CEO of Aceites ABASA, states:
“None of this would be possible without the daily commitment of our team, the trust of our customers and the alliance with suppliers and communities who believe in our vision for the future. We continue to move forward with determination toward a business model that generates shared value, with responsibility, transparency and sustainability as its fundamental pillars.”
